Smoot starting for Rogers

Cornerback Carlos Rogers, benched last week after getting burned in the first quarter by Denver’s Brandon Marshall, had a good week of practice according to the coaches.

However, Rogers isn’t back in the starting lineup today. Fred Smoot, virtually a non-person in October, is starting for Rogers.

It’s Smoot’s first start since last Nov. 30 against the New York Giants.
