Blades downgraded

Linebacker H.B. Blades, who leads the Redskins with 21 special teams tackles — seven more than any teammate — isn’t practicing today. That’s not a good sign since he was limited yesterday and didn’t miss a game despite having a knee scoped during the bye week.

Also not practicing are: cornerback DeAngelo Hall (knee) — making it more likely that Carlos Rogers will return to the lineup after being a backup last week; tight end Todd Yoder (toe) and old standbys Chris Cooley (ankle) and Clinton Portis (concussion).

Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth (ankle) is working on the side in sweats with a trainer. Haynesworth hasn’t practiced or played since he was hurt on Nov. 15 against Denver and seems likely to miss a second straight game.
