Samuels won't play Monday

Six-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Chris Samuels will miss a second straight game on Monday with a neck injury he suffered on the second offensive snap of the Oct. 11 loss at Carolina.

The Redskins are still waiting for an expert on spinal injuries to read Samuels’ MRI, something that could happen as soon as Tuesday.

The 32-year-old Samuels had offseason surgeries on his right triceps and left knee. His absence for the game against Philadelphia will be his sixth in 11 games after he started 62 in a row.
