Brennan has surgery

Quarterback Colt Brennan, Washington’s third-stringer in 2008,is expected to need three months before he can resume athletic activity following hip surgery.

Coach Jim Zorn said that Monday’s operation revealed that the small tear in his labrum, which was repaired, was the cause of Brennan’s ailing hamstring. The 26-year-old had a similar operation on the other hip during the 2008 offseason.
