Joining Smoot on the inactive list are all repeats from last week: offensive linemen D’Anthony Batiste, Chad Rinehart and Edwin Williams, defensive linemen Anthony Montgomery (knee) and Renaldo Wynn; linebacker Robert Henson and cornerback Kevin Barnes.

Running back Marcus Mason is active for the first time in his three NFL seasons, taking Smoot’s spot among the 45. Justin Tryon will replace Smoot as the third corner, but look for reserve safety Reed Doughty to get more time than usual after excellent play in the opener.
