Could it be six straight?

The Redskins play the 0-3 Buccaneers on Sunday. This a week after they played the 0-2 Lions and two weeks after they played the 0-1 Rams. And of course, the Giants started the season with no victories.

Next week, Washington visits 0-3 Carolina, which is off this week. And the week after that, the Redskins play host to Kansas City. The Chiefs are 0-3 now and play the Giants and Cowboys in the interim, so they’ll probably be 0-5 when they visit Landover on Oct. 18.

So the Redskins will almost certainly make it to Week 7 before they play a team that has already experienced the thrill of victory in 2009.

That’s quite a run.
