As expected, Georgetown point guard Chris Wright won’t play today against UConn in the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden.

Wright broke a bone in his left hand against Cincinnati Feb. 23 and has missed the last two games.

Georgetown expects Wright back for next week’s NCAA Tournament.

After Saturday’s loss to Cincinnati to end the regular season, Georgetown coach John Thompson admitted the team is “much different” without Wright on the floor.
