Marlins-Nationals lineups

← return to Screen Play

Greetings from Nationals Park, where there are plenty of clouds, but no rain so far.

Amanda Comak is taking a few hard-earned days off and I’m filling in.

As expected, shortstop Ian Desmond gets the day off to rest his strained left quad. He’s available to pinch-hit, if needed. Manager Jim Riggleman is optimistic about Desmond’s recovery after a night’s rest, saying that Desmond felt significantly better today.

Alex Cora gets the start in Desmond’s place.

Onto the lineups …
