Georgetown gets Alabama in Big East/SEC Challenge

Georgetown plays at Alabama on Dec. 1 in the Big East/SEC Challenge, according to the schedule released Thursday.

Last season Alabama finished 25-12 and lost to Wichita State in the championship game of the National Invitation Tournament.

Game times will be released in August.

The challenge schedule:

Dec. 1
St. John’s at Kentucky
Providence at South Carolina
Georgetown at Alabama
Mississippi at DePaul

Dec. 2
Cincinnati at Georgia
Florida at Syracuse
Auburn at Seton Hall
Vanderbilt at Louisville

Dec. 3
Arkansas at Connecticut
LSU at Rutgers
Pittsburgh at Tennessee
West Virginia at Mississippi State
