Most people with half of full season ticket packages to the Nationals tend to split their package with We’ve been hearing anecdotally that some Nationals season ticket holders are struggling to keep their groups together because one or more of the members is facing tougher financial times or is just unhappy with the team’s performance.It’s too early to tell what effect, if any, this will have on season ticket renewals for the season, but the team has set up a new section of its Web site to help planholders find new partners.

The team has a new “Season Ticket Partner Zone” that allows fans to post if they are looking to join a group or is in need of a new partner. At this point, there are about 50 people offering up at least some portion of their ticket plan for 2009.

Anyone renewing their plan for 2009 has until Nov. 22 to make their first deposit of 20 percent.
