The McCain campaign is out today with a Spanish-language television commercial attacking Barack Obama for his willingness to meet with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
We saw this coming months ago, when John McCain made a swing through Latin America, meeting with U.S. allied leaders in Colombia and Mexico and highlighting the battle going on between those allies and Chavez.
In the new ad, McCain’s campaign points to Obama’s pledge to meet with foreign leaders including Chavez without preconditions. But the main part of the ad is Chavez himself, denouncing the U.S. in language the McCain campaign felt needed to repeatedly be bleeped out.
