D.C. United coach Ben Olsen will be in charge of at least one familiar face when he leads the MLS All-Stars against Chelsea FC later this month, as United captain Dwayne De Rosario was named Sunday to the fan-voted All-Star First XI.

It is the seventh All-Star selection for the reigning MLS Most Valuable Player, who has notched five goals and a league-leading 10 assists while facilitating more this season after topping MLS with 16 goals in 2011.

Joining De Rosario in the First XI are goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen (Kansas City); defenders Steven Beitashour (San Jose), Aurelien Collin (Kansas City), Jay DeMerit (Vancouver) and Heath Pearce (New York); midfielders David Beckham (Los Angeles), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles) and Graham Zusi (Kansas City); and forwards Thierry Henry (New York) and Chris Wondolowski (San Jose).

Selections from Olsen and commissioner Don Garber announced July 15 will round out the All-Star squad that will face Chelsea, the reigning UEFA Champions League winner, July 25 at PPL Park in Chester, Pa.
