While barely a month has passed since the Los Angeles Galaxy claimed MLS Cup, the SuperDraft and first day of preseason now are just two weeks away. On Thursday, D.C. United unveiled their full preseason schedule:

Jan. 17: MLS SuperDraft in Indianapolis and players report to RFK Stadium
Jan. 18-19: Training in the District
Jan. 20-Feb. 1: Trip to Bradenton, Fla., at the IMG Academy
Feb. 1: Preseason opener against Swedish side Malmo FF (11 a.m.)
Feb. 2-6: Training in the District
Feb. 7-24: Trip to Orlando, Fla., for the Walt Disney Pro Soccer Classic
Feb. 9: D.C. United vs. NASL side Tampa Bay Rowdies (8 p.m.)
Feb. 13: D.C. United vs. Sporting Kansas City (6 p.m.)
Feb. 16: D.C. United vs. Montreal Impact (1 p.m.)
Feb. 23: Pro Soccer Classic finale (matchups TBA)
Feb. 25-28: Training in the District
March 2: MLS opener at Houston Dynamo
March 9: Home opener vs. Real Salt Lake

NOTE: Brazilian club Esporte Clube Bahla has announced it is sending 20-year-old Brazilian striker Rafael on a season-long loan to United. The move, if confirmed by United, would bolster the club’s forward depth, with Hamdi Salihi’s future unclear, Josh Wolff now a full-time assistant coach and Maicon Santos a member of the Chicago Fire.
