Today’s Water Cooler lineup of off the beaten path online stories are: An odd study says gun owners are more likely to be shot themselves, Why President Obama is actually worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize, Has the National Endowment for the Humanities flew under the radar too long?

  • Pajamas Media  Clayton E. Cramer on: Yet another flawed study attempts to make the case for keeping citizens defenseless

What’s the direction of causality here? Are you more likely to be shot because you own a gun? Does anyone seriously believe that buying a gun attracts criminal attackers?

Pres. Barack Obama deserved the Nobel Peace Prize. That’s an indictment, not a compliment. Rather than living up to the honor, it should be Obama’s mission to show he’s thoroughly unworthy of it.
