According to various sources in news reports, The Obama administration may be “pointing toward New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson as possibly replacing Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State in 2011.”

Secretary Clinton has often been rumored to leave her position as Secretary of Sate and primary President Barack Obama for the Oval Office in 2012. Mr. Richardson’s background in foreign relations dates back to his time with President Bill Clinton’s administration, when the New Mexico lawmaker served as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.
