    President Barack Obama may have thought he was relaying a tender moment at his news conference on Wednesday about his 12-year old daughter Malia, who he says accomplishes her homework ahead schedule, unlike lawmakers on the hill, but Politico pointed out the president goofed his own daughter's age.     President Barack Obama addressed the nation on Wednesday night to announce he would be drawing down 33,000 U.S. troops from Afghanistan by next summer. Mr. Obama's decision comes after he ordered 30,000 troops to the middle-eastern nation back in December of 2009. In his speech Mr. Obama focused on not just foreign policy but domestic policy as well. Published June 23 2011

    President Barack Obama made remarks at a DNC event in Washington at the Mandarin hotel on Monday, where he touted the number of private sector jobs he said the administration created. The problem, however, was those watching the closed captioned text of the speech on television sets saw a laugh cue instead of an applause cue.     Next on the union hit list? Target. The retail giant, like its competitor Walmart, is under pressure to have it's employees represented by labor. However, according to an AP report, after a vote at a New York Target store in Valley Stream, the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 1500 failed to convince Target employees to unionize.
