• PICKET: FBI Counter-terrorism lexicon skips all references to 'al qaeda'

  Could federal law enforcement's own training protocol on what they have been defining as "terrorism" be delaying the investigation of what happened in Benghazi, Libya on September 11th? As I pointed out in a previous post, the FBI training manual after a 2011 purge, does not even include the terms "al Qaeda", "Muslim Brotherhood", or "jihad." Published September 27 2012

• PICKET: Obama camp asks media to avoid using Sebelius's official title at campaign events

  Despite being cited and later excused by the White House for a Hatch Act violation recently, as a result of calling for North Carolinians to vote for President Barack Obama at the annual Human Rights Campaign Gala, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will be campaigning for the president in New Hampshire this weekend, reports The Washington Examiner. • PICKET: Lawsuit filed against EPA over pollution experiments on humans

  A follow up from a Water Cooler post back in April. Steven Milloy, a biostatistician and securities lawyer who runs the site junkscience.com, is suing the Environmental Protection Agency over what he discovered through evidence from a Freedom of Information Act request. According to the National Legal and Policy Center, Milloy found out through the FOIA that the EPA was conducting " disturbing experiments that exposed humans to inhalable particulates the agency has said are deadly." • PICKET: WH insists Obama UN remarks spoke out against 'slander' towards everyone 'equally'

  President Barack Obama addressed the General Assembly at the United Nations on Tuesday and denounced the anti-Muslim online film trailer made by a southern California resident, calling it "disgusting" and "crude." At the same time the president said the online video should not be used as an excuse by others to incite violence. He also noted that the U.S. Constitution protects American citizens' right to free speech, so banning such material would not be legally possible. Published September 25 2012

  Part of the Obama administration’s national security strategy for almost four years has included avoiding the possibility of offending Muslims. Despite the administration’s claims that the anti-Muslim online video should not be an excuse for anyone to violently attack the United States, President Barack Obama will address the General Assembly at the United Nations on Tuesday and denounce the film trailer. In the meantime, leaders of Islamic nations will be at the UN and demand that anti-blasphemy laws be established. Published September 24 2012

• PICKET: Pakistan official places $100,000 bounty on head of anti-muslim filmmaker

  Pakistan's Express Tribune is reporting that the country's Federal Railway Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour declared that a $100,000 award will be given to anyone who kills the filmmaker of the anti-Muslim online movie trailer, “Innocence of Muslims." Published September 22 2012
