PICKET: (VIDEO) Democrat Paul Begala: Floor vote on Jerusalem and God was 'embarrassing' and 'an unforced error'

Democratic stratigist and form adviser to President Bill Clinton Paul Begala appeared on CNN Wednesday evening and was critical of the DNC’s vote to include “God”  and pro-Israel language into the Democratic Party platform.

“It sounded like three-fourths…five-sixths…nine-one hundredths?” asked Begala of the vote which requires 2/3 majority to pass. “It’s stupid. It’s an unforced error by my party. They don’t need them. The chief justice of the United States made a mistake with the oath of office. Everybody makes mistakes…even the smartest people.”
