Andray Blatche is at Verizon Center every day, working out and getting treatment. He’s on the court before the games, shooting and running drills with his teammates.

He’s in the locker room before games, talking to his teammates and getting treatment. And he continues to work out during games hoping to improve his conditioning well enough to play again before the season is over.

Wizards coach Randy Wittman wouldn’t say whether or not Blatche, or for that matter Rashard Lewis, both of whom are on the inactive list, would play again this season.

But Blatche has slimmed down, and said he’d lost 10 pounds. He definitely looks in better shape that he did when he returned from his calf injury, and he’s keeping a positive attitude.

Blatche missed five weeks after suffering a left calf injury, and was unable to work out while he was out of the lineup.
