← return to Wizards Watch

The 0-2 Boston Celtics are in town to face the 0-1 Washington Wizards in the Wizards home opener. Washington’s starting lineup: A.J. Price (point guard), Bradley Beal (shooting guard), Trevor Ariza (small forward), Trevor Booker (power forward), Emeka Okafor (center).

The Wizards will get center Kevin Seraphin back tonight. Seraphin has been out with a strained calf muscle, but his rehab has gone better than expected, and he’ll see minutes tonight.

Before the game, coach Randy Wittman would not commit to how many minutes Seraphin might play – he’s just taking a wait and see approach.

The Wizards are 0-1 after a road loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 94-84, on Oct. 30.

The Celtics are 0-2 after an opening night road loss to the Miami Heat, 120-107, and a home opening loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, 99-88, on Nov. 2.
