The Washington Wizards have made waives guard Steven Gray and forward Shavlik Randolph as they begin to set their final roster before the season begins on Tuesday.
Gray, a 6-foot-4 guard out of Gonzaga, appeared in two preseason games for Washington and averaged 1.5 points and played minutes total.
Randolph, a 6-foot-10 forward from Duke, appeared in five games and averaged 2.2 points and 3.0 rebounds and averaged 10 minutes per game.
The Wizards now have 17 players on the roster and will need to drop to 15 by Monday.
The team finished the preseason with a record of 3-5, with wins over Cleveland, Miami and Milwaukee. The five losses were against Charlotte, New York, Brooklyn, Toronto and San Antonio.
