Brian K. Vaughan (Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina) and Eduardo Risso (100 Bullets) deliver their take on Wolverine—grim and gritty. Available in both color and black-and-white, in case you want your art extra gritty. I bought the B&W version.

Air No. 1 from DC Comics

As previewed in Madame Xanadu #1… Vertigo brings us their newest entry—a post-modern, post-9/11 story of vigilantes dedicated to taking back the skies from terrorists—sort of. Neil Gaiman (having been given further advance copies than I have) compares it to Salman Rushdie and Thomas Pynchon. From the creative team of Cairo, the under-appreciated Vertigo GN from last year.
