Have you ever wanted free tickets for life to see your favorite team? General admission okay with you? It is, okay, cool. Would you get a tattoo of said team’s logo in order to do it?

The Nationals’ Triple-A affiliate, the Syracuse Chiefs, had such a promotion for 36 lucky fans at Tuesday’s game and the turnout was so big they had to start turning fans away by 5 p.m.

Fans reportedly started lining up by noon in order to get the free tickets and the tattoo.

The tattoo itself was of the Chiefs primary “C” logo in black-and-white only and tagged with a special marking to guard against counterfeit tattoos. The special marking can only be seen under a black light, adding to the awesomeness of this promotion.

Amongst the 36 fans was 72-year-old grandmother, Beverly LaBaier.
