A Greek police officer keeps a close watch on the Turkish border at Likofito, part of an aggressive campaign this month to try to seal Greece’s 130-mile northeastern border during its financial crisis that has seen a swell in joblessness and a surge in racist attacks against immigrants, mostly from Afghanistan and Pakistan.
