In this photo taken on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, Lois Lucci, 53, sits next to her dialysis machine at her home in Redondo Beach, Calif. Only about 8 percent of dialysis patients choose to do it in their own homes. (AP Photo/Damian Dovarganes)
