This is an undated photograph of  Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, who was the commander of Japan's Combined Fleet and planned the attack on Pearl Harbor during World War II.  He was gunned down by the U.S. Army Air Force while inspecting the Northern Solomon Islands on April 18, 1943.
