A water park, two recreation centers, an ice-skating rink, numerous parks and nearby Potomac Mills mall all tempt the residents of Dale City. Now, the Hylton Group is building 180 Colonial-style, single-family homes at the Villas of Trentdale, a planned community in Prince William County. These affordable homes are designed for low-maintenance living.

Each home includes vinyl siding, a post lamp, professional landscaping and a one-car garage. A two-car garage is optional.

Inside, both models feature three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, oak railings, crown and chair-rail moldings, ceramic tile in the full bathrooms, a security system, a rough-in for a full bath in the basement, a storage room and laundry room on the lower level, and window shades.

The Alleghany model, with 1,562 finished square feet, is priced from $157,950. This home has a front porch, an open living and dining room, and a country kitchen with an optional morning room and deck. Upstairs, the master suite has two walk-in closets and a private bath, while two additional bedrooms share a hall bath. A luxury bath with a soaking tub and separate shower can replace the existing bathroom and one walk-in closet in the master suite.

The Shenandoah model, with 1,555 finished square feet, is priced from $156,950. This home features a front porch, an L-shaped living room and dining room, and a kitchen and breakfast room. The options include a room extension, a sun room or a deck. Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and optional luxury bath. Two additional bedrooms share a hall bath.

Options available include a finished lower level with a study and recreation room and bath, room extensions, sun rooms, fireplaces, bay windows, decks and luxury master baths.
