Cameron Station, a planned community near Old Town Alexandria, features a swimming pool, clubhouse, an elementary school, a park, and a desirable location near the shops and restaurants of Old Town. Van Metre Homes is building 107 town homes with three finished levels in this community.

Each home will feature a brick front and stoop, 6-inch beaded vinyl siding, and a one-car garage.

Inside, all three models will feature three bedrooms; two full baths and two half baths; 9-foot ceilings on all three levels; hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder rooms; vaulted ceilings; crown- and chair-rail moldings; a marble fireplace in the family room; a dining room chandelier with a ceiling medallion; a gourmet kitchen with Corian counter tops and sinks, 42-inch cabinets, a pantry and Jenn-Air appliances; a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes range in size from 2,505- to 2,867-finished-square-feet, with base-prices from the mid- to upper-$300,000s.

The Robert Carter model, with 2,769 square feet, features a lower level entry with a recreation room, powder room, storage rooms and an optional den on the first level. Upstairs, the open center-island kitchen is adjacent to the family room, while decorative columns define the dining room and spacious living room, which could be converted into a living room and library with columns.

On the third level, the master suite has a walk-in closet and luxury bath, while two more bedrooms share a hall bath. A laundry room is located on this level.

Options available include sun rooms, loft suites with full baths, custom-designed decks and patios and custom built-ins in the optional library.
