Van Metre Homes is building 58 Colonial-style single-family homes at Potomac Station, a planned community in Leesburg, Va. Residents of this Loudoun County community enjoy a variety of recreational amenities, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, walking trails, tot lots and even a canoe launch on Goose Creek.

Each home will be built on a one-fourth acre site and will include maintenance-free, 6-inch beaded vinyl siding; a post lamp; and a two-car garage. Brick and stone fronts are optional.

All five models will include four bedrooms, 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 baths, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, crown and chair-rail moldings, a remote-controlled gas fireplace with a brick surround and a mantel, hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room, a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower, 42-inch cabinets and a pantry in the kitchen, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes range in size from 2,800 to 3,300 finished square feet, with base prices from $337,950 to $364,950.

The Sinclair model, with 3,200 square feet and a base price of $352,950, features a study with French doors off the foyer, a two-story living room with wood columns, a formal dining room, and a kitchen with a cook top on the center island, a breakfast nook and a half-wall defining the adjacent step-down family room. Upstairs, the master suite has two walk-in closets, a luxury bath and a separate sitting area with a cathedral ceiling. Two bedrooms share a hall bath while the fourth has a private bath, and each has a walk-in closet.

Options available include sun rooms, a finished lower level with a recreation room, den, wet bar and bath, extra fireplaces, bay windows, skylights and more.
