• Mickey Parel is a certified nurse-midwife who is trained in the hypnobirthing method. She offers classes at Washington Families First in Bethesda. Four-session classes cost $250 (which includes tapes and book) and are sometimes covered by insurance. For more information, call 301/986-5546.
