Set high on a bluff overlooking the rolling Fauquier County countryside, the Highlands of Warrenton is a community of 80 affordable single-family homes now under construction by Premier Homebuilders Inc. Residents will be within walking distance of historic Warrenton and local schools.

Each of the five models will feature wood-grain vinyl siding, professional landscaping, an asphalt driveway, and 25-year Fiberglas roof shingles. Brick or stone fronts and one-car or two-car garages are optional.

Each home includes three to five bedrooms; 2 1/2 baths; crown moldings in the living room, dining room and foyer; chair-rail moldings in the dining room; six-panel interior doors; oak cabinets and recessed lighting in the kitchen; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes range in size from 1,455 to 2,600 finished square feet, with base prices from $144,900 to $199,900.

The Bradford model, with 1,950 to 2,500 finished square feet, is base-priced from $189,900 to $192,900. This home features a two-story foyer with a half wall and columns defining the living room, a central staircase, a formal dining room, a center-island kitchen with a breakfast nook, a family room and an optional two-car garage.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a double-door entrance, a walk-in closet and a second closet, a luxury bath with a double-sink vanity, a soaking tub and a separate shower. Three additional bedrooms share a hall bath.

Options for this model include a 4-foot room extension that adds space to the dining room, kitchen, family room and master bath.

Options available on all models include room extensions, 9-foot ceilings on the first floor, 42-inch kitchen cabinets, bay windows, gas fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, surround sound systems, intercom systems and other upgrades.
