Amenities are bountiful in the planned community of Ashland in Manassas, where residents can swim, play tennis and shop at the Village Green retail center.

Comstock Homes is building 150 Colonial-style single-family homes in this Prince William County community. Each house will be built on a quarter-acre lot, with maintenance-free vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage. Stone and brick fronts are optional.

Inside, each of the five models includes four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, a gas fireplace in the family room, hardwood flooring in the foyer, six-panel Colonial doors, a deluxe master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower, a center-island kitchen (with recessed lighting, 42-inch cabinets and a pantry), a full unfinished basement with a rough-in for a full bath, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes range in size from 2,284 to 3,090 finished square feet, with base prices from $245,900 to $274,900.

The Yorktowne II model, with 2,857 square feet, is priced from $266,900. This house features a study and formal living room flanking the foyer, with a formal dining room partially open to the living room. A spacious family room opens to the breakfast room, which is adjacent to a large pantry and a mudroom.

Upstairs are four bedrooms, a laundry room, and a large master suite with two walk-in closets. An optional three-story sun room and rear staircase are available.

The largest model, the Richmond, has 3,090 square feet and a base price of $274,900. This house includes a two-story family room or an optional fifth bedroom, or a first-floor master suite in place of the library.

Other options include bonus rooms, sun rooms, additional bedrooms, finished lower levels and rear staircases.
