Equity Homes is building 22 Colonial-style single-family houses at Damascus Valley in Damascus, on lots of a quarter-acre to three-quarters of an acre.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will include a brick foundation, a brick stoop, 6½-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping, a sodded lawn and a two-car garage. Brick fronts and three-car garages are optional.

Inside, all nine models feature four bedrooms, 2 or 3½ baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main and upper levels, pine stairs with oak rails, crown and chair-rail moldings, a gas fireplace, and 42-inch cabinets, hardwood flooring, a desk and a walk-in pantry in the center-island kitchen. The master bath has a tub and separate shower and ceramic tile flooring. The homes come with a high-tech wiring package, a rough-in for a lower level bath and two-zone gas heat and gas hot water.

The homes have from about 2,612 to 4,326 finished square feet, with base prices from $463,900 to $583,900.

The Dorset model, with 3,644 square feet, is priced from $510,900. This model features a two-story foyer flanked by the living room and dining room, a corner library, a powder room, and a family room with windows on three sides and a fireplace. The family room opens onto the breakfast area and kitchen. The nearby laundry room opens into the garage.

Upstairs, the master suite has three walk-in closets and a bath with a large tub, a separate shower with a seat and two separate sinks. Three more bedrooms and another full bath complete this level. This level can be modified with a connecting bath and a third full bath, or a bonus room over the garage.

Options include sunrooms, morning rooms, a finished recreation room, a walkout basement, bay windows and additional baths.
