SEEN AND HEARD

WHERE’S THE BEEF?: Georgetown received a commitment from yet another blue-chip recruit last week, top-100 combo guard Jessie Sapp. The Hoyas used the last of their 13 scholarships, assuming starting point guard and current walk-on Jon Wallace will get his just reward from coach John Thompson III at season’s end. That still leaves the Hoyas dreadfully thin inside, where only raw freshman Roy Hibbert and budding star Jeff Green see significant minutes. The only way the Hoyas now can sign a power forward or center in this class is if another player transfers.
