Shops, dining for 189 condos

Waterford Development LLC is building 189 condominium homes at Spectrum in Falls Church, which includes a rooftop deck, a clubroom, a media room, a conference room, a fitness center and a business suite.

The mixed-use development will include a central plaza with a fountain surrounded by shops and restaurants. It is located between the East and West Falls Church Metro stations.

Each residential building will include secured entry and limited-access garage parking.

Inside, the 18 models feature one or two bedrooms; one or two full baths and one half bath; bamboo or cork flooring in the living areas; 9-foot ceilings; Berber carpeting in the bedrooms; an advanced home wiring system; 42-inch cabinets, granite counters and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen; a master bath with a tub and granite counter; porcelain-tile flooring in all full baths; walk-in closets in all bedrooms; and gas heat.

The homes have about 800 to 1,600 finished square feet, with base prices from the mid-$400,000s to the upper $800,000s. Condominium fees are $300 to $600 monthly.

The Emerald model, with 800 square feet, has a two-story living area, den, kitchen and powder room on the lower level, with a master suite upstairs.

The Jade model, with 1,200 square feet, has a living room, a dining room open to the center-island kitchen, a built-in desk off the foyer and two bedrooms with two baths.
