Washington fans are learning the art of ballot stuffing but maybe not quickly enough. Alex Ovechkin has moved up to No. 2 among Eastern Conference forwards with 289,470 votes, but he is still 230,598 votes behind Sidney Crosby of Pittsburgh.

The left wing was named one of the NHL’s three stars for the week ending Sunday. Ovechkin had one goal and six assists as the Caps won two out of three.
