Tomorrow: Surratt House Museum, 9118 Brandywine Road, Clinton, presents Kevin Rawlings as a Civil War Santa Claus in a program titled “We Were Marching on Christmas Day,” 2 p.m. in the museum’s research center. Through Jan. 7: The National Museum of Civil War Medicine, 48 E. Patrick St. in downtown Frederick, presents a Christmas exhibit covering the celebration by soldiers in the field and their families at home, the Christmas tree, stockings hung on the mantel, 19th-century toys and ornaments, Christmas songs and early images of Santa Claus.
