Hoyas report

Yesterday at Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor, Mich.

BY THE NUMBERS

54.8 Field goal percentage for Georgetown during its six-game streak of routs. The Hoyas, who shot 52.3 percent against Michigan, failed to convert more than half of their shots only once (vs. Navy) during the run of games they have won by an average margin of 26.7 points.

2 Of 16 3-pointers made by Michigan. The Wolverines entered the game as the worst 3-point shooting team in the Big Ten (33.2 percent) and performed even below their poor standard. Senior point man Dion Harris (1-8) was the team’s primary culprit.

SEEN AND HEARD

While a number of Michigan fans surely wanted to scream “fire” in reference to Tommy Amaker’s disappointing tenure at Michigan this weekend, the cry instead rang over at Michigan Stadium on Friday night when a small fire was discovered in the bleachers. Minor repairs and improvements are being made to the bleachers in the Big House, and apparently some careless soldering led to what was little more than some smoldering steel, paint and plastic.
