Eclipse condos rise in Arlington

Comstock Homebuilding Cos. Inc. is building 465 condominium homes at the Eclipse on Center Park in Arlington, a development with an outdoor swimming pool, a clubroom with a rooftop lounge, a billiards room, a fitness center and entertainment room with a private theater.

A Harris Teeter grocery store is on-site. More retailers will be added.

Each home in this Arlington County community has a balcony, a storage unit and reserved indoor parking.

Inside, all six home types feature one to three bedrooms; one or two full baths; 9- and 10-foot ceilings; a 42-inch plasma television; a washer/dryer; and 42-inch maple cabinets, granite counters and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Fireplaces are optional.

The homes have about 400 to 2,050 finished square feet, with base prices from the $300,000s to more than $1,000,000 for the penthouse homes.

Monthly condo fees begin at $350.

A one bedroom and den model, with 785 to 825 square feet, has one bath, an open living and dining room, and a balcony accessible from the den and the bedroom.

A two-bedroom, two-bath model, with 1,370 to 1,415 square feet, has a spacious living room, a separate dining room, a master bath, a balcony and a terrace.

A three-bedroom model, with 1,280 to 2,050 square feet, features a foyer entrance into the open living and dining room, which has two balconies. The master suite has a view of one balcony, a walk-in closet and a bath with a tub, a separate shower and a double-sink vanity. This model also has a powder room.
