SEEN AND HEARD AT DOLPHIN STADIUM

Saturday night's game featured a postgame concert and fireworks show, part of a season-long promotion the Marlins are running to try to get more fans to come out. Word of advice: They may want to secure some bigger-name acts. Among the headliners this season: Joan Jett, Kansas, Disco Fever featuring Gloria Gaynor and American Idol rejects.

Performing Saturday night was none other than Cheap Trick, last heard from in perhaps 1982. A couple of band members looked like the epitome of middle-aged rockers. Long hair, tight shirts and jeans, way too many wrinkles.

Those among the crowd of 24,107 who did stick around for the concert seemed to enjoy the show. Two of the more recognizable songs from their set: "Dream Police" and the infamous "I Want You to Want Me."
