Corvette show slated at Jessup, Md., park

What’s being billed as the Ultimate Corvette Meet & Greet Car Show will be held tomorrow in Jessup, Md.

Registration is $20 for the 9 a.m.-to-7 p.m. event, which offers three trophies in each of nine classes.

There also will be live entertainment, games and special guests, according to the sponsoring Baltimore County Corvette Club. Vending space will be available.

Chrysler show set Sunday in Manassas

The 16th annual Chrysler Product Owners Club Car Show will be held Sunday at a Manassas dealership.

The event, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will present several trophies and provide refreshments.

Judging is open to owners of all Chrysler products, including Dodge, DeSoto, Imperial and Plymouth, as well as AMC/Jeep/Eagle.

Maryland dealership to host Firestorm V

Firestorm V, a show for American and imported vehicles including hot rods, street and muscle cars, motorcycles and trucks, will be held in Waldorf, Md., on Aug. 11.

Registration is $20 for the event, which is free to the public. Sheehy Nissan-Mitsubishi is hosting it from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The rain date is Aug. 12. The dealership is located at 2950 Crain Highway (Route 301) in Waldorf.

Food will be available, and the Washington Redskin Cheerleaders will sign autographs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
