Question of the Day
SEEN AND HEARD AT AT&T; PARK
SAN FRANCISCO Barry Bonds is beloved by Giants fans, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s beloved by the entire city.
While there was all sorts of anticipation and hubbub at the ballpark leading into last night’s game, there really wasn’t any buzz around town about Bonds.
No banners hanging from light posts. No billboards congratulating Bonds on his accomplishment.
In fact, when asked to drive a customer to the ballpark yesterday afternoon, one obviously out-of-touch cab driver asked, Is there a game tonight?
BY THE NUMBERS
