Last night at Comcast Center

BY THE NUMBERS

24-2 Run for Maryland early in the first half. The Terrapins put Duke in a 20-point hole in a little more than 10 minutes, a deficit the Blue Devils could never fully erase.

4 Consecutive losses for Duke, its longest skid since dropping four straight to start conference play in 1996. The Blue Devils’ 12-point margin of defeat was their largest in conference play since a 94-80 loss at Wake Forest in 2003.

PLAYER OF THE GAME

Maryland guard Greivis Vasquez carried the Terps’ offense for stretches of the second half on the way to an 18-point effort. He drove the lane for a layup with 8:23 remaining to push the lead to 58-50, and Duke never pulled within two possessions again.
