Land for building a custom home can be difficult to find in Fairfax County, but it is even more rare to find a

5-acre lot with a stream, parkland and horse trails crossing the land.

At 2128 Polo Pointe Drive in Vienna, this homesite and its custom home are now on the market for $3,895,000.

Polo Pointe Drive, off Lawyers Road near Hunter Mill Road and Reston, is home to some of this area’s most impressive residences, each with distinctive architecture, spacious interiors and a landscaped garden.

Good Star Homes is building a residence to fit into this elegant neighborhood and yet allowing the buyers to customize some of the spaces to match their taste.

The home includes varied rooflines, four sides of stone and Hardiplank siding, with multiple arched, round and mullioned windows. The two, two-car garages have wood doors. A flagstone path leads to the flagstone front stoop and to the mahogany front door, which has glass accents.

The builder is including 5-inch wide white or red oak hardwood flooring throughout the first floor, except for the foyer, which has cream-colored marble flooring with a black border.

The finished lower level has a game room surrounded by windows, a billiards room, a playroom, a full bath, a media room and a large storage/utility room.
