Longtime Georgetown trainer Lorry Michel returned from illness after missing back-to-back games for the first time in her career on the Hilltop. Michel, who has been the basketball trainer for the Hoyas since 1981, was suffering from a severe flu similar to the one that sidelined junior swingman Tyler Crawford earlier this season.

68.4 Shooting percentage for DePaul during the first half. Led by off-guard Draelon Burns, who made three of his four 3-point attempts, the Blue Demons dropped 13 of 19 shots before intermission and went to the locker room tied 30-30 with the Hoyas.
