SEEN AND HEARD AT WRIGLEY FIELD

The uniform (with royal blue pinstripes) looked a little different, but the smile was the same as always. Alfonso Soriano couldn’t wait to say hi to his old teammates before yesterday’s game. The former Nats 40-40 man and the Cubs’ current $136 million man chatted up everyone in a Washington uniform who approached him by the cage during batting practice, as well as plenty others who weren’t in uniform. Soriano had gotten off to a slow start this season, failing to homer and driving in just one run in April, but he has started to heat up with the weather. He homered both Tuesday and Wednesday, and his third-inning single yesterday extended his hitting streak to 13 games.
