TOO LATE. I graduated from high school in 1990 and I feel this way NOW. I feel like our generation - generations X and Y and those behind us are about to be utterly ripped off. The Boomers knew this was coming and did nothing to plan for it and they are about to demand that we sacrifice our future and our kids' futures for their now. They have been the determining voting block for the last 40 years and did nothing to shore up Medicare or Social Security. They seem to think that because they paid a pennies into the system to support "the greatest generation" that we should shell out $100 bills for them. They do not seem to have any remorse and no desire to understand why this is so...wanting instead to stomp their feet and whine about how they paid into the system and now it's their turn. Not so.
It is far too late to prevent generational anger and resentment. It's time for the boomers to pay for their own failure to act and not try to pass the bill to their kids.
