Well, what else do you expect? Americans do not like grandstanding overseas BEFORE THE CANDIDATE IS ELECTED. I trust the American voter. That voter is not dumb. They can see through a CON.

Pendamon, make your facts straight. What is your proof for Obama being a CON? Everything he has done, he worked for it. May be you are just one of those winers who thinks life is a box of bs. I guess unless I take "CON" to mean a code word for mean you as a "begot" It is just Obama is dealing with a racist crowd who does not know better than character assassination. The guy is over qualified to be a president. Smart people may never be leaders if they are, the world would be a better place.

"The guy is over qualified to be a president." -life101 LMAO. Thanks for that joke. That's got to be the dumbest thing anyone has ever stated next to "racist crowd." Oh wait you said that too. That's 2 for 2. Life101 I think you need to go learn life901 before you start making asinine comments. By the way it's bigot not begot. Seriously though, are you mental. I mean did you fall off your tricycle and had half your brain removed. Not only is Obama unqualified to run for President of the US he is also disqualified by his association with nutjobs and terrorists, and lack of leadership qualities, lack of understanding of economics, lack of military experience, and lack of good effective policies. He is an empty suit that is good at reading other people's words off of teleprompters. Strip away all the media hype and BS and he is nothing more than a common elitist socialist flaming liberal.

Racial prejudice is behind some of the defections? If there were racial prejudice they wouldn't have been behind Obama in the first place. The article seems to indicate that people turned racially prejudice over a few month's? The defections are caused because of Obama's actions and peoples reactions. Constantly changing direction means you are lost on the political landscape and does NOT instill confidence in leadership toward obtaining any objective. The man is going say one thing to get elected and do something totally different once he gets in office. That is what is causing the defections. People are remembering, the Democrats promised change too, when they took over the Congress four years ago. First look at their effectiveness in Congress, then their success in meeting those objectives and then the current confidence levels. People are NOT any more racially prejudice now than they were six month's ago, they have just learned more about the candidates.

There are also a lot of articles that make the point that although the poll numbers seem to have taken dip, the actual electoral votes Obama is expected to win remain significantly in excess of those apparently going to McCain.

That koolaid you people have been drinking is kinda of getting sour...bout time...if this guy submitted a resume to any Fortune 500 company he wouldn't be qualified to work in the mail room...oh I forgot about the community organizer gig that he had...ok ...he could restock the community coffee station

It is incomprehensible that anyone who is pro-life, especially Catholics who are strongly in support of being pro-life, could support someone who advocates partial birth abortion and not once, but four times voted against a ban that would have protected the life of a baby that had survived an abortion. What does the good Senator intend to do with these babies that survive abortions? Well, the answer is obvious! He lets it starve to death! How much more compassionate can you get than that?

Gee, Let's see. The last time we had a President with similar qualifications to Obama's. Wasn't that Abraham Lincoln of Illinois? But he's only on Mt. Rushmore! Has his own memorial in DC. Saved the Union, etc. Guess we don't want anybody that underqualfied again. Do we? McCain's only qualification is longevity. He doesn't know what he's talking about on Iraq/Iran -- thinks Al Quada in Iraq funded by Iran! Thinks there's still a Czechloslavakia, which ceased to exist in 1993. Self admittedly doesn't know any thing about economics--not his strong suit? What is his strong suit. Getting shot out of the sky by the enemy? Destroying five expensive government planes? "It's not your job to die for your country; it's your job to make the enemy die for his," famously said by General Patton. Finishing 5th from last at Annapolis? Dumping a faithful wife to marry a multi-millionaire? The list goes on and on. What about his musical talents? "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Iran!" This guy would lose by 20 points if there weren't so many red-necked bigots in this country. Darkstar

tomc100: Both candidates are losers but to set the record straight- The last time I checked the requirements to be president of the USA is (1) be born in the US, (2) be a US citizen, (3) have resided in the US for at least 14 years, (4) be at least 35 years of age and (5) be voted in by the American people. This is in accordance with your constitution, experience is not a requirement, if you don't agree dig up your forefathers and ask them why! If experience is what it takes to make decisions that GWB have made then vote for dumb old John Mcshame so he can make more "experience stupid" decisions and continue to send American crashing in it's position on the world stage!! I cannot believe that America has 300 millon + population and these two clowns is the best that you can do.....

Once again the "journalists" here distort and cherry-pick the polls to attack Mr. Obama. The latest AP-Ipsos poll shows Obama with a 6-point lead, the latest Daily Gallup shows him gaining four points on McSame in four days. The latest CNN poll shows Obama with a 7-point lead. See a pattern? McBush's eight-grade antics like the Brittany ad and the Moses ad has shown America a side of McSame it is not comfortable with: Angry, petty, bitter, and just plain proud-to-be-ignorant. As far as qualifications or Executive experience, Mr. Obama demonstrated outstanding management know-how and the extremely rare ability to inspire others to work together for a common goal in running an effective, well-planned and well-executed 300 Million dollar campaign to defeat an awesome Hillary Clinton machine. That's called "leadership", something John McSame knows nothing, and cares nothing about.

To Darkstar: At least McCain actually WENT to Annapolis. What military experience does BHO have other than none? How many planes did BHO fly? Would BHO have opted for return to the US if it had been his father who was the Admiral? That offer was given to McCain while he was a POW in Vietnam, but he graciously declined, opting instead to suffer right along with his fellow American servicemen. To Oakland77: Experience not required by fore fathers? Then why was the first Commander in Chief previously a General and never an actual politician? The second president was his vice-president, succeeded by his vice-president. Those simple requirements were put in place so there would never be a nobility class where only they could seek high office. BHO has never really been tested under fire. The only experience he demonstrates is how to make gaffes and show off how arrogant he really is.("We are the ones we have been waiting for!") This self proclaimed messiah offers nothing more than class envy and wealth redistribution. What is new about that? That has been going on in this country for over 70 years now. The Social Security program itself is older than McCain is.

What all these commentors state might have some truth. However, our founding fathers in their authorship of our Constitution, implied a seperation of powers. That is we have three branches in the House, Senate and Executive. They are designed for balance to protect the general population. Currently the Dem run House and Senate are ineffectual with strong party line rhetoric and no movement in the aisles of balance. When members call for more time outs to caucas then they spend on their respective floors, it is WRONG. They have been elected, are paid very well in salary and benefits to get the job done. The House and Senate currently have a lower public poll rating then the President himself. Why, because they are not getting their jobs accomplished! In the private sector they would be fired for their uselessness! Back to the election. I fear the single party rule of the House, Senate and Executive from either party. Basic logic dictates that if the Democrats are to maintain their inept control of the House and Senate then the Executive needs to be Republican. I want protection under the law of the land for our future. I can only recall in my lifetime one instance where a single party managed to produce positive movement and that was the Reagan/Gingrich era. Yes we had positive results and little loss of freedoms. Less government is better government. BHO will move the entire left to the socialist agenda and our loss of rights will be at indiviual levels. NOBAMA
