Cantor would add energy, smarts, and conservative principles to the ticket. He would also help win Virginia and Florida. Learn more at www.ericcantorforvp.com

Personally I don't see how an unknown like Eric Cantor can help at this late date. No matter how outstanding the resume, the fact is that outside of Virginia nobody has heard of him. With McCain's age as an issue, his Vice-President needs to be perceived as someone who CAN be President. It would be hard for many voters to take a risk on someone they don't know.

Obama, McCain, Governors, Mayors, Councilors, City managers take notice! 80 percent of the American people are watching! Not just Postville, Iowa meatpacking facility in violation of the law. How many more nefarious companies out their, violating safety and immigration laws. When ICE knocks on the door eventually--and they will, under the Federal SAVE ACT. Deportation is an absolute certainty. Whereas, voluntary 'ATTRITION' means you can re-apply like all the millions of legal immigrants. NUMBERSUSA for uncensored news.

Cantor would be a great choice, I have no problem with a Jewish VP (or even potentially President) as long as they are a good, solid conservative and patriot. It makes me sick to hear this junk about religious bigotry, it exists far more on the left than on the so-called right, and I don't think it's nearly as prevalent among Christians as the press wants us to think. The same goes for the bunk about how Christians wouldn't vote for Romney, that's baloney put forth by the left (and a few Christian religious snobs who DON'T speak for all of us) and the press--who pretty much hates conservatives of any religion or color. The choice of Cantor would be a GREAT signal to the dictators of the world that America stands for freedom, for principle above politics, and for a free country's right to govern without the world sticking its nose into our business. It would also show our support for Israel and our determination to remain allies with them. I would be more likely to vote for McCain with Cantor on there than if he chose someone like Powell or Ridge or Lieberman, who I don't equate with conservatism at all (being a hawk on the war alone does not make one a conservative). I'd vote for Cantor in a heartbeat.

I served with Eric Cantor in the House of Delegates. He is a solid pro family and pro business conservative who does not support government waste. While in the House, he gained the respect of both parties and was asked to carry major legislation due to his ability to convince people to support his causes. He is articulate and would be a great choice for the McCain ticket. Roger McClure, Delegate, 1992-2002

I love Cantor, but much more important would be to have SOMEBODY as Pres or VP who would have some idea and some EXPERIENCE as to how to run something bigger than a senate office --like a governor, for example.

How about him for president? I like the way he thinks.

Eric Cantor would make a fine VP choice, appealing to all three legs of the Conservative base. As for the OP-ED considering his Jewishness as a liability? Far more an asset in an election year where voters have clearly shown their readiness - even hunger for a minority voice. He has already won solidly with Evangelicals and Traditional Catholics as well as fiscal Conservatives. Besides economy he also understands deeply the real and ever growing threat of radical Jihadism that seeks to destroy the West economically, socially and morally thru tactics of terror of violence, using economic vulerability and social weakening of moral value. This is a message that needs to be broadcast loud and clear by our lected leadership. Eric Cantor would bring enormous skill and energy with him.
