I didn't know Bush & Cheney were also on the take for illegal drugs. After all, aren't drugs weapons that terrorists use in their arsenal of spreading anarchy? Why are these two henchmen so soft on the Mexican angle? Imprison our Border Patrol Agents when they shoot drug smugglers, fail to request extradition of a murder suspected of shooting and killing a Border Patrol Agent, extend the Mexican Trucking scheme against congressional approval...... Just don't let a Canadian guy sell pot seeds via mail order. The DEA and the full force of the Bush/Cheney army will be all over you.

The erosion of our borders goes way beyond President Bush blkbrd, get over your Bush Derangement Syndrome. There's plenty of blame for both political parties - Democrats and Republicans both have sold out their constituencies for Hispanic votes and campaign contributions. Our southern border in particular has long been a travesty that 80% of US citizens, including LEGAL immigrants, want fixed. The fact that it hasn't been, 7 years after 9/11, is grounds for impeachment of our entire congress. Neither B. Hussein or McCain will solve this problem, except at the expense of American citizens. There's serious blood on the horizon down there...

The USA has had war declared on us but due to the coward traitors from within: the people will have to unite and deal with the invaders since Ted and former Pres Johnson opened up the flood gates to allow us dba the USA to be chatel for NWO to non enforcement and continued AMNESTY rewarding with the same promoting their hate non profits THE RACE=666 racists including the Catholic Church in violation of God and mans laws to assist in the invasion. US citizens are being murdered every l7 sec by ILLEGALS: too bad the coward elites are the vicims instead of law abiding, diminishing working taxpayers who just want to have what they work for instead of all being given away. TANKS need to be on the USA border--Mexico does nothing except blames us dba the USA for everything while sending their wh es aka heathen breeders to birth for auto welfare citizenship from womb to tomb via sperm donor exponentials... while THE RACE claims they are protecting immigrants rights which is an insult to law abiding heritage of immigrants by ILLEGALS hate mongering and disdain for our laws and customs. REMEMBER the ALAMO because it is at everyone's doorstep now--our ancestry fought and we expect to do the same... what a joy...to pass on to our children if we aren't nuked by the Communist Chinese; Arab JIHADISTS; Russia; or diseased riden by ILLEGALs which ever comes first if we don't go bankrupt... Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto Y o u One Nation Under GOD

"Mexican officials denied at the time that the shooters were Mexican soldiers, saying they were criminals using military uniforms. It is a position they steadfastly have maintained. " Good, then they shouldn't mind if we shoot to kill anyone who tries to invade our border wearing a Mexican uniform, should they? And whatever happened to land mines? Seems like they would help secure our borders!

BLKBRD is very close to the answer. Fact is, every one sees Oliver North as the hero telling war stories. The fact that he was involved with drug dealing for profit by our government has long since been forgotten. Forgotten, but it still goes on, and that is why the DEA stays in existance, to keep the quantity on the street down, keeping the USA's prices high. Simple supply and demand theory in process by the ones who are sworn to protect and serve you. The true protectors sit in jail--REMEMBER RAMOS AND COMPEON

I agree with patrick80639 that if they are not Mexican Army by the Mexican Government's declaration, they are drug dealers or invaders so just eliminate them. It is a cowardly shame Bush does not protect our border and in the process lets in drugs and whatever.

Superpower

This demonstrates again Washington DC's private love affair with Mexico. Why did the Border Patrol even allow Mexican military to point weapons at them on US soil in the first place? There should be a zero tolerance policy on US soil when it comes to "anything that even moves" coming across our border, even the Mexican "Presidente". This is pathetic! Hey, send us some more of those high quality serrano peppers you're growing on your state-of-the-art farms.

bobgraham Oliver North was away from the drug dealing and Mexico certainly did not fit into the equation. Jack DeVoe brought the cocaine in from Columbia. Mexican troops on American soil should be considered an act of war, and treated accordingly.

When I was in the Marines we had to deal with some Mexican soldiers one time in some equipment training. All the Mexican soldiers wanted to do was sell drugs and entice everybody into some criminal racket. One was caught red handed trying to steal some radios. He said he thought the ones clearly marked "property of USMC" were Mexican radios. The lying thief was let go and sent home. The next time the Mexcan army crosses our border it should be met with military force and all efforts should be made to capture and try in court the tresspassers. Mexican feelings be damned, its a corrupt country. Put some A-10 WartHog close air support planes in the air over the border. When that anti-tank gatling gun goes off you can hear it for miles. Let the Mexican army see what it can do. This is not a case of getting lost in the desert, they have GPS also. THIS IS THE MEXICAN ARMY THAT IS DOING THIS AND THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT IS IN ON IT.

The only thing, and I do mean the ONLY thing that is going to save us from our government is the Supreme Court's right to bear arms ruling. The governments ONLY job is to protect the citizens of this country and our borders. All the social programs are NOT outlined in the constitution. SOCIALISM is not outlined in the constitution. Pelosi and the gang of robber barons we have running this country have all got to go. It up to is US, the citizens of this country to dump all the political machines and start electing people committed to the United States (US) and it's CITIZENS, not special interest groups. Fire them all during this next election, no matter whether they are Republican or Democrats. Let's start over and take back control!!! And the next time the "Mexican military" crosses our borders annhilate them!!!

SHOTGUN285

I've been saying for years they need a section of cobras on 30 minute alert all along the border. Nothing like 20mm cannon fire shredding your drug hauler to discourage you from your course of action. Mexican soldiers crossing our borders are an act of war and they should be shot on site. Anyone dressed like a soldier crossing the border carrying drugs or other contraband should also be shot on site. Do this a few times and advertise it well in mexican papers, and I have a feeling the problem will go away, not to mention discourage quite a few illegal immigrants in the process. It's a win-win situation for the US and it's citizens.

How can you say the Mexican military "returned without incident"? A military force crossing onto U.S. Soil IS AN INCIDENT which in some countries results in WAR! Time for some Arizona National Guard to "welcome" the Mexican Military.

If there was a fence along the border, it would be easy for everyone to know where the border is. Simple.

This is what happens when the Bush Administration provides cover for Mexican drug runners. They end up thinking they can get away with anything, and maybe they are right.
